Culture Builds Community

Between 1997 and 2002, SIAP served as the evaluator for Culture Builds Community, a community arts initiative of the William Penn Foundation.  Our summary report provides an overview of the initiative, our findings concerning its success at achieving its goals, and a set of lessons it provides for other efforts to stimulate the community cultural sector.

In collaboration with the Stockton Rush Bartol Foundation, we developed an accessible research brief.
