Registration Information
Seminar participants must pre-register by mailing the enclosed registration form, or by faxing or telephoning their registration information, or registering online. Early registration is encouraged as class sizes are limited and seminars fill quickly.
Registration Confirmation will be sent to you by email or phone during the week of the seminar. Please be sure your email address is clearly legible on the registration.
Tuition is $125 for full-day sessions, and it includes lunch. All sessions include the processing fee for CEU certificates, course materials and parking.
A Discount of $10 per course is granted to those agencies who register three or more employees, current Penn Social Policy & Practice Field Instructors and Penn Alumni. There is a $10 discount for each session if all Supervision workshops or 3 or more of the NPL series workshops are attended.
Location: Except when otherwise noted, all seminars will be held at the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy & Practice, 3701 Locust Walk, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Refund requests must be received in writing and will be honored in full if received no later than one week before a seminar. Refund requests will be accepted by email (rjbarron@sp2.upenn) or by fax (215-573-2099). A processing fee of $15 per registrant will be deducted from the refund total for any refund request submitted within one week of the seminar.
Seminars with low enrollment may be cancelled, in which case tuition will be refunded in full. Seminars will be cancelled due to inclement weather if The University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy & Practice is closed. Parking is available in the garage at 38th and Walnut Streets (entrance on 38th Street). You must present your ticket for validation in order to receive free parking.

ALL SEMINARS BEGIN PROMPTLY AT DESIGNATED TIMES. PARTICIPANTS MUST ARRIVE ON-TIME AND ATTEND ENTIRE SEMINAR TO RECEIVE CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS.
Continuing Education Credits & Licensure Renewal/Re-Certification
Social Work: The University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy & Practice is a pre-approved provider of continuing education credits for Pennsylvania licensed Social Workers. Each contact hour is equal to one Continuing Education Unit (CEU).
National Certified Counselors: The University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy & Practice is recognized by the National Board for Certified Counselors to offer continuing education for National Certified Counselors. We adhere to NBCC Continuing Education Guidelines. One CEU is equivalent to ten contact hours. (NBCC #4486)
Requirements for PA Social Work Licensure Renewal: Completion during the preceding biennium of 30 clock hours of continuing education in acceptable courses and programs in social work offered by approved providers.
Requirements for National Certified Counselor Re-Certification: Completion of 100 contact hours of continuing education in each five year certification period.
