THE FIELD CENTER
for Children's Policy, Practice & Research

The Field Center partnered with The Institute for Safe Families (ISF) on ISF’s family violence prevention initiative.  The Field Center, represented by doctoral student Rachel Fusco and Faculty Director Carol Wilson Spigner, provided:

• technical assistance to The Institute for Safe Families regarding children’s exposure to family violence
• participation with The Institute for Safe Families at meetings with the larger family violence community
• background material and current research on children’s exposure to family violence and related issues
• help to formulate family violence policy and practice at the Philadelphia Department of Human Services
• a resource for Institute for Safe Families initiatives focusing on children’s exposure to family violence.
