ISE Standards
To quote our June 1st Symposium keynote speaker, Julie Johnson, “There are no ‘core standards’ for learning science in informal settings. Since the work can occur in museums, libraries parks, cyberspace, etc., each subfield borrows from formal education research, cognition, nature of science work, etc. as a starting point.” Some ISE Standards pertain to content (different kinds of science) while others address process (how to teach different kinds of science) That said, here are a few sets of adapted standards:
