The Evelyn Jacobs Ortner Center is committed to making a contribution to those efforts in at least two ways:

  • We generate new knowledge about violence against women and violence in families.
  • We share current information and university-based thinking with policy makers, advocates and practitioners.

Our work is designed to address the needs of our local community as well as the concerns of the field.
