NASA is offering Summer of Innovation (SoI) awards of up to $2,500 per school- or community-based organizations with the desire to provide STEM programs for students entering grades 4-9 who traditionally have been underserved or underrepresented in STEM fields. State Farm and Youth Service America have teamed up to offer "YOUth in the Driver Seat," a service and learning program that includes training, ongoing support and consultation, and a $1,500 grant to implement a 14 week project that encourages safe driving habits, service to the community, and student achievement.
