Poor Children in Rich Countries: Toward a Resolution of the Paradox

Project Description:
This project examines the underlying ideological and structural causes of child poverty in economically rich countries. Particular attention is given to the understanding contradictions that frequently exist between stated social policy goals and the pursuit of these goals through programmatic initiatives.
