Tuition & General Fees for AY 2013-2014
| PhD PROGRAM Tuition and Fees for the Fall 2013 – Spring 2014 Academic Year are as follows: |
Upon notification of acceptance for admission to the University, applicants are required to deposit $500. The deposit due date is provided with the offer of admission. The deposit will be credited to the student's account upon matriculation. If the applicant does not matriculate, the deposit is not refundable. Full-time tuition, general and clinical fees* are charged the first three years of study to entering students who already hold a masters degree. After three years of full-time study, students are placed on dissertation status with reduced tuition and fee amount. In addition, individual health insurance is available through the University. All students must be covered by the University’s health insurance or provide proof of alternate health coverage. For the 2013-2014 academic year, the costs are: Individual health insurance: $TBD Additional information is available at http://www.vpul.upenn.edu/shs/psipinsurance.php. *The general and clinical fees are a contribution toward the support of the Student Health Service, Placement Service, graduate student activities, recreational facilities, and other services not directly associated with specific courses. |

| Tuition & Fees For Cohort Entering Fall 2013: |
Tuition for the Clinical DSW program is calculated on a per-course basis. There are 14 courses units in the program: 6 courses in year one; 6 courses in year two; and 2 courses in year three. Students should expect that the per-course tuition will increase slightly for years two and three, as determined by the University. Scholarships/Tuition Assistance: The Clinical DSW does not offer any scholarships or fellowships. However, the University of Pennsylvania is committed to helping students meet the costs of receiving a Penn education through other means. Students are encouraged to apply for federal student aid and other loans to help finance tuition and living expenses. For information about how to apply for loans, click here. |
