Tuition & Financial Aid

In these uncertain economic times, planning to finance a graduate school education can be challenging.

The School of Social Policy & Practice (SP2) at the University of Pennsylvania is committed to helping you navigate this process. Over $2 million in financial aid is awarded annually for our Masters degree program students in the form of named scholarships, fellowships and SP2 awards. Last year, 85% of our Masters degree program students received financial aid from the School. Eligibility for many of these funds is usually based on an applicant’s demonstrated financial need, as determined by the Financial Aid Committee at the School of Social Policy and Practice (SP2). Most SP2 students finance their education through a combination of institutional funding, federal aid, private educational loans and other sources.
