Dual Degree Programs - Master of Social Work/Master of Science in Social Policy (MSW/MSP)

This dual degree program joins disciplines that are vitally concerned about human and social well-being.  The program maximizes learning opportunities in both the micro (clinical practice) and macro (societal and policy) arenas.  The MSW/MSSP builds on a liberal arts foundation and is designed to prepare social workers for leadership roles in developing, analyzing and implementing policies and services impacting individuals, families, groups, communities and organizations.

The MSW/MSSP is a seven semester program that is normally completed over a three year period, with the research internship occurring in the final summer semester.  Some students may choose to shorten the time by studying during summer semesters in years one and two, depending on course availability.
