PhD Student Handbook
Student Debts to the University
All students are required to keep their tuition and other University accounts current. Students who fail to pay their tuition, either in whole or part, must work out a satisfactory plan for payment of the delinquent amounts before the student may begin a new semester of study. Failure to pay outstanding University bills on a timely basis will result in: a) the student's academic status being "frozen" such that no further course work may be taken or academic advising provided; or b) in unusual situations, expulsion from the program with the requirement that the student submit a new application for admission. No re-applications for admission for financial reasons will be considered until the student has settled in full her/his financial obligations to the University.
