Graduate housing is available at Sansom Place , a two-building high rise complex located at 3650 Chestnut Street . Room types include single rooms and one and two bedroom apartments. Sansom House has several special interest communities, and floors 11-12 in Sansom Place West are reserved for students in the School of Social Work.

The Office of Off-Campus Living is a primary source of information for any student considering living off-campus. The service maintains a computerized list of openings for yearly leases for houses and apartments, arranged by type of apartment and updated every week, along with roommate wanted listings. Other resources include consumer information about leases, utilities, safety, transportation, temporary housing and finances. Special housing searches can be conducted for those in need as well as lease translation. Counseling, referral services and assistance with emergency relocation are provided as needed.

Penn’s Office of College Houses and Academic Services recruits Graduate Associates to live in the College Houses, where they serve as friends, mentors, and advisors to undergraduates.
