Students for International Social Work

Students for International Social Work is an interest and advocacy group within the School of Social Policy & Practice that focuses on utilizing students, faculty, and the wider Philadelphia and professional community to explore a wide range of global issues, such as global poverty, inequality, and social justice. We are committed to raising awareness and inspiring involvement around international issues, and to exploring the role of social work in international practice. We strive to promote international social development and welfare, and seek to educate through group meetings, research projects, campaigns, lectures conferences, and other collaborative events and activities.
