Academics

Are you looking for a career that will enable you to make a difference and contribute to making the world a better place?

The University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy & Practice (SP2) is the only school of its kind in the nation. SP2 students learn from one another across five distinctive but complementary programs, which allows them to receive training that no other school of social work, social policy, or philanthropy can duplicate. The School’s confluence of diverse philosophies and approaches is a testament to the challenges its faculty and students seek to address. The world’s most intractable social issues can’t be solved from within individual disciplines; they demand collaboration across fields and methods. The practical and analytical training SP2 students receive is superb and empowers graduates to see the world through a multidisciplinary prism that makes them much more effective professionals, citizens, and social leaders in an amazingly diverse world.
