Online Learning

SP2 is a leader in online learning at the University of Pennsylvania. In 2015, the Doctorate in Clinical Social Work (DSW) program was developed into Penn’s first online degree program. The Master of Science in Nonprofit Leadership (NPL) program followed suit, launching a hybrid program in 2018 before transitioning to a fully online program option in 2019.

SP2 is committed to disseminating knowledge and providing opportunities for anyone interested in the pursuit of social justice, innovation, and impact. In support of this goal, SP2 launched its continuing education initiative, OpenSP2, with a multitude of online learning options in the form of online courses, certificate programs, and more.
