Class Gift Campaign

What is the Class Gift Campaign?

2019 Class Gift Logo

The Class Gift Campaign is an annual tradition at SP2, and is your opportunity to reflect on your experience here at the School; the classes you took, the professors who challenged you, the classmates who became friends, and the knowledge and experience you gained. All of these things, you will carry with you for the rest of your life. They will inform the career you choose and the social change you make. Now, as we approach graduation, it’s your opportunity to give back. The 2019 Class Gift Campaign raises funds for the SP2 Annual Fund which directly funds financial aid at SP2 for incoming students to make sure that we continue to prepare leaders and practitioners to impact individuals, communities, organizations, and policy. The Class Gift is a wonderful opportunity to pay forward to next year’s students.

How long is the Class Gift Campaign?

The 2019 Class Gift Campaign kicks off on Wednesday, February 13th and will conclude on Wednesday, March 20th.

Why does it matter?

Consider this: at such a divisive point in this nation’s history, who is best equipped to fight injustice, discrimination and inequity in our society? We think it is brilliantly compassionate social workers, progressive and informed policy advocates, and innovative nonprofit leaders. In other words, our nation and the world needs US. And we need fewer barriers to receiving an exemplary education.

Do you really need MY support?

YES! If not you, who? We are what makes the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy & Practice special. Who knows the value of an SP2 education, better than you?

What will I get?

A warm feeling. Gratitude from future generations of SP2 students. And of course, SWAG! There will be some SP2 branded tokens of appreciation for those who donate, like gear to keep you warm this winter and something sweet in honor of Valentines Day. Donors will also be recognized in SP2’s annual donor honor roll, which is distributed to all Annual Fund donors and is available online. Don’t miss out!
