A. Stefanie Ruiz Sportmann is an international doctoral student at the School of Social Policy and Practice at the University of Pennsylvania. She conducts research on Nonprofits and volunteerism, specifically immigrant volunteering with a focus on Second-Generation Immigrants. Prior to seeking a doctorate, Stefanie earned an MA in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from the Rothberg International School at Hebrew University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in International Business at the ESB Business School in Germany.
