Cate has managed social media accounts for many progressive leaders, including Vice President Joe Biden’s political social media during the 2014 and 2016 elections.

Cate holds an MS in Social Policy from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from the College of William & Mary. She lives in New York.

“My policy fellowship with the American Association of University Women allowed me to watch the women’s policies that I studied at SP2 get put into action. The highlight was meeting House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi at the launch of the Women’s Economic Agenda in July. The Women’s Economic Agenda is a package of policies that would enhance women’s economic security, introduced by a group of women members of the House with the support of organizations like AAUW.”
