Christine Gehman is the Director of Financial Operations at SP2. Chris came to SP2 from the School of Arts and Sciences, where she held the position of Manager of Administration and Finance for Fisher-Bennett BA Services from 2012-2019. She began her career at Penn in SAS’ Market Street Business Office. Prior to joining Penn in 2006, Chris was General Manager and Comptroller of a small publishing company in Maine, and before that, held various positions at Philadelphia Newspapers, Inc. (publisher of The Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News) and Whitman’s Chocolates. She holds a BS in Accounting from Penn State University and an MBA from the University of Southern Maine. She was accredited as a Certified Research Administrator in 2012. In her free time, Chris enjoys gardening and reading. She lives in Glenside with her husband and three feline children.
