
Christine Coppa, MSW
Christine Coppa is a licensed clinical social worker who teaches full-time at Community College of Philadelphia in the Behavioral Health Human Services program. Her teaching interests include motivational interviewing, field education, supporting the needs of non-traditional learners while in college, and integrating practitioner wellness into training curricula in order to prepare a trauma-informed workforce.
Additionally, Christine is an Adjunct Faculty at the Undergraduate Social Work Program at West Chester University where she has taught Generalist Practice, Field Seminar, and Human Behavior in the Social Environment. Her professional background includes over 15 years of clinical practice in a University Counseling Center and Alcohol and Other Drug program and providing case management services to people with acquired brain injuries. She maintains a small private practice in Philadelphia. Christine loves to read and hike with her dog.
