Meghna Chandra is a third year PhD student at the School of Social Policy and Practice. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2013 with a BA in Urban Studies. After her undergraduate, she went to Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi, India to study Modern Indian History. Before joining the PhD program, she worked as a community organizer, ESL teacher, and researcher with the Institute of Sex Worker Research and Action. Her research is on the social welfare implications of university-driven development.
