Microsoft Teams: a unified communication and collaboration platform that combines persistent workplace chat, video meetings, file storage (including collaboration on files), and application integration. The service integrates with Office365. You can download the Teams client software here. Discover and learn how to use Teams here.

BlueJeans is an alternative technology to Zoom.

Canvas is an online Learning Management System for teaching and learning.

Panopto is a video creation and storage platform tool.

Poll Everywhere
Poll Everywhere is a web based polling tool.

Qualtrics is an online service for creating and administering surveys.

Microsoft Forms
With Microsoft Forms, you can create surveys, quizzes, and polls, invite others to respond to it using almost any web browser or mobile device, see real-time results as they’re submitted, use built-in analytics to evaluate responses, and export results to Excel for additional analysis or grading.

Library Proxy
This is needed for off campus access to certain library resources.

File Sharing/Collaboration

Penn+Box: a cloud-based collaboration service for securely managing and sharing files and folders.

Secure Share: a web-based application for secure file exchange available to Penn faculty, staff, and students.

Microsoft OneDrive: a cloud-based collaboration service for securely managing and sharing files and folders.

PennSP2 Slack: a cloud based chat and collaboration tool for SP2 faculty & staff.

Resources for Students

Student Remote IT Support
Students can email Student Intervention Services for assistance with access to technology for remote learning.

Learning Remotely
Weingarten Learning Resources Center provides resources and strategies for students to learn remotely.

If students need access to SAS, ArcGIS, nVivo, or SPSS software, SP2 Information Services has setup a Virtual Server with these applications installed. Please contact sp2help@sp2.upenn.edu for assistance with this service.
