This event is presented by the School of Social Policy & Practice (SP2) and co-hosted with the Annenberg School for Communication and the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School.

This candid conversation with featured guest Nikole Hannah-Jones and host/moderator, Ben Jealous, is being hosted in connection with the One Book, One SP2 program. More information about the One Book, One SP2 initiative is available at https://sp2.upenn.edu/inclusion.

This year’s selection was The 1619 Project: A New Origin Story, a book-length expansion of the essays presented in The 1619 Project issue of The New York Times Magazine in August 2019.
