"I chose SP2 because of the school’s interdisciplinary approach to change-making, social justice, and leadership, and to learn from peers who are similarly striving to be leaders in their fields and impact the lives of others.

“My most rewarding experience has been my group work, which I was reticent about given the challenges of time zones and working with other students from all over the world. But these relationships and connections have been meaningful to me, especially as an online student, in both building community and gaining inspiration.

“I was nervous about going back to graduate school at this phase of life, to balance work, rigorous academics, while raising 3 young children. But the frameworks I have gained, coupled with the latest, best practices in the field, have prepared me to launch this phase of my career, and to center work on empowering women to go back to school after career, life, or family commitments have been their priority. We need to do more for women in higher education, to ignite them to focus on themselves and give them the resources they need for success. SP2 has prepared me to lead this.”
