If you’re interested in starting a new student group, email the SP2 Student Government at email@example.com. Please include the following information: Name of group; Mission statement; Faculty/staff advisor; President; Vice president; Treasurer; and Contact information. Once approved, the Student Government will request that you complete a budget request form. Groups created mid-semester may not be eligible for funding. Penn Directory Copy Link to Clipboard http://www.upenn.edu/directories Student Emergency Fund Copy Link to Clipboard The Howard Arnold Sustainability Fund is an emergency fund to help students who encounter unexpected and temporary financial hardship. The fund may be used for financial emergencies related to necessities such as housing, food, medication, transportation to school/internship, books, field placement or internship-related incidentals. This is a one-time stipend that typically does not exceed $500. It is not intended to be used for tuition unless the student is on a registration hold. SP2 students must have current course enrollment within the semester that they are requesting emergency funding. Students should apply using the online form. Final decisions will be communicated to the student via email within 3 days of receipt of the online request. The funds are disbursed as soon as possible, typically within a few days. Important: If there is a balance on the student’s Penn bursar account, disbursement of the emergency funds may be delayed.
