SP2 Graduation Application
Application for graduation must be made in order to be considered for degree. Graduating students should submit the SP2 graduation application by:
- Summer (August) Graduates: August 1st
- Fall (December) Graduates: December 1st
- Spring (May) Graduates: February 1st
Expected graduates enrolled in the PhD in Social Welfare MUST ALSO apply to graduate with Graduate Arts and Sciences.
University and SP2 Commencement Festivities will take place May 13th – May 16th. Details will be announced by SP2’s Office of Student Affairs in the spring.

Expiration of Penn Email Addresses
Penn O365 email accounts expire on:
- October 18th for students graduating in Spring or Summer.
- March 1st for students graduating in Fall.
Please be sure to access any important information you may have saved in your Penn email account before expiration. All Penn Alumni are eligible to create a QuakerNet Gmail account at https://www.alumni.upenn.edu/getgmail. More information about this service can be found at https://www.alumni.upenn.edu/quakergmail.

Please note that if you are an active Penn employee or student in another school at Penn, you will continue to use the email account associated with your Penn school/center of employment.
